sbcl.

An open filing cabinet anyone can pull.

sbcl publishes visual essays. Each one carries a number that runs in order of publication, and that number is its permanent address. No feed, no algorithm, no thumbnail baiting the click. One slip gives you enough to decide whether to read.

Every raster image on the platform is reduced to one-bit halftone. This is a self-imposed constraint: it forces the page to stand on structure and type, and makes every essay belong to the same visual world however different the sources.
